Amp Electrical Distribution Services ("AMP") is the platform formed to acquire and build around independent companies in the wholesale electrical distribution market. AMP is a partnership between Activate Capital and a team led by Richard Worthy, an experienced executive with a successful and long tenure in the electrical distribution market - including as the founding CEO of both Sonepar USA and US Electrical Distribution Services, two of the largest distribution companies in the US today. AMP's first platform investment is Leff Electric, an independent electrical distributor in Cleveland, with eight branches around Cleveland and Akron, Ohio.
